Lock down your accounts in 20 minutes

Most accounts are broken into with a stolen or reused password, not clever hacking. A few habits close the easy routes.

  • Use a password manager so every account has a different strong password.
  • Turn on two-factor on your email, bank, and main social accounts.
  • Protect your email above all: whoever controls it can reset everything else.
The one that stops most takeovers: two-factor on your email.
